Since her disgust at the pitiful choice of leaders in Australia in the year 2000, Bossell has been creating wearable satirical masks of Australian and American leaders for activist performance. She has initiated political actions, enlisted performers and minders and helped to devise scenarios as well as creating the masks. Her interest is in enlivening political discourse through public satirical theatre.
