Edge Sydenham,
performance co-produced with artist Gabrielle Bates.
On trains, sidewalks and along the streets of Sydney, The Sleep Walkers are marching to protest the political apathy of our times.
A silent action group in pyjamas, nighties and curlers, the group of art activists hold a mirror to society to encourage greater engagement with issues like environmental change and the threat to the arts in today’s uncertain cultural landscape.
This powerful and slightly haunting action unites artists from all over Sydney’s Inner West. Together they flash mob along streets or stop on the sidewalk for a power nap.
