Public Art
Through direct commissions and public EOIs, Bossell makes public art for festivals of art and culture and for community, Indigenous and regional projects.
Often site-specific, her public art uses non- toxic materials and is temporary by nature, leaving no trace on the landscape. She sees it as taking part in a community discourse. Drawing attention to specific local and biological species and issues, Bossell’s public art celebrates local life systems, focusing on questions of extinction habitat loss and human co-evolution.
